TNS ropes in Anjali Puri to beef up its global qualitative practice

Global research consultancy TNS has announced the appointment of Anjali Puri as Head of Centre of Excellence for TNS’ global Qualitative practice. Based in Bangalore, Puri will report to Rebecca Wynberg, CEO, TNS Qualitative.
She has held a number of regional positions since joining TNS in 2010, and most recently served as Managing Director for TNS Qualitative in Asia-Pacific.
Commenting on the appointment, Rebecca Wynberg said, “I am delighted that Anjali is joining the global team. She is highly regarded in our industry for her contemporary thinking in qualitative research globally, particularly in the areas of consumer choices, behaviour change and social media. Anjali’s input will be instrumental in helping us to deliver world-class research excellence across all our markets.”
In her new role, Puri will be responsible for developing TNS’ qualitative offer, leading new thinking and articulating best practice. She will also work closely with TNS’ Global Practice Heads to ensure the organisation delivers truly integrated approaches to clients across the globe.
On her new role, Puri commented, “I am really looking forward to leading our newly-established Centre of Excellence and to working even closer with Rebecca and our qualitative expert practitioners across TNS to strengthen our capabilities and bring fresh, innovative thinking to our clients.”
Her appointment in a global position reflects TNS’ goal of setting a new standard for the industry by reuniting some of the world’s most experienced qualitative researchers under the leadership of Wynberg.
