Senior journalist and former anchor with ‘MP Tak’, Amit Tiwari, has passed away following a cardiac arrest. News of his untimely death has led to widespread grief across the journalism community.
Colleagues, political leaders, fellow journalists and well-wishers have paid tribute to him, expressing condolences and remembering his contribution to the field of journalism.
Originally from Dewalchuri village in the Jaisinagar area of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, Amit Tiwari had established a distinct identity in journalism. He had worked with several reputed media organisations, including ‘MP Tak’.
Known for his impactful anchoring, strong command over language and easy-going personality, he was well regarded by both colleagues and viewers.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed grief over his demise, calling it deeply saddening. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
Samajwadi Party national spokesperson Yash Bharatiya also paid tribute, stating that his passing is an irreparable loss to Bundelkhand and the journalism fraternity. He described Tiwari’s untimely death as shocking and deeply distressing.
Amit Tiwari is survived by his wife and two young children.
