With Volvo Auto India, a luxury car company in India, continuing its association with the Aircel Chennai Open 2012, the stage is set for the sporty Volvo S60 to make its debut as the official car at India's only and south Asia's premier ATP World Tour tennis event.
As part of this association, all matches during the tournament from 2nd to 8th of January 2012 will be played against the backdrop of Volvo S60, a luxury sedan.
With a backdrop of a sedan, the association will allow dignitaries, participants and players to experience the quintessential driving pleasure synonymous with Volvo S60.

Being one of the most competitive and compelling offerings, the unique features of Volvo S60 on display at the event will include World’s first ‘Pedestrian Detection’ with full auto brake, Advanced Controls like Torque Vectoring, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Laser Assisted Automatic Braking – City Safety, Turn with steering lights (Active Bending Lights) among others.
The 17th edition of the tournament from 2nd to 8th January 2012 will see in action an impressive line-up of stars, both Indian and international. The strong- player-field includes two players ranked in the top 10, Serbian world number 9 Janko Tipsarevic and Spanish world number 10 Nicolas Almagro.
India's Leander Paes will partner Serbian Janko Tipsarevic in the doubles draw of the Aircel Chennai Open 2012. In addition, Somdev Devvarman, the country's top-ranked singles player and finalist at the 2009 edition, will lead the Indian challenge in the singles draw of the tournament.
The Aircel Chennai Open 2012 will be telecasted live exclusively on Ten Sports.
