Zee Telugu to telecast ‘Manikarnika’ this Sunday
The Kangana Ranuat-starrer will be telecast exclusively on Zee Telugu and Zee Telugu HD
Zee Telugu is all set to make your weekend special with blockbuster movie Manikarnika.
The film starring Kangana Ranuat as Jhansi Laxmi Bai will be telecast on Sunday, May 26 at 3pm, exclusively on Zee Telugu and Zee Telugu HD.
Manikarnika is a biographical account of how Rani Laxmibai waged a war against the East India Company.
The narrative takes us through the internal struggle with Jhansi’s royal family while unraveling important historical events during the 1800s.
It chronicles the journey of Manikarnika from her birth place Bithoor, to becoming the Rani of Jhansi and eventually turning into a warrior Queen who sacrificed her life for the nation.
The film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranuat who has donned the Director’s hat for the first time. The cinema is produced by Zee Studios, Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti, while the music has been scored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
