When it comes to a game of Cricket, people from both sides of the border show equal amount of frenzy. Hence, when Zee TV decided to get an ensemble of its most popular fiction show stars on the field for the first-of-its-kinds cricket league – ‘Zee 20 Cricket League’, it was an ideal platform to give an exclusive glimpse of the latest offering from ZEEL (Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited) – Zindagi, a premium mass Hindi GEC that will bring the best of stories from across the border to television screens. The channel propagates the idea “Sarhad ke us paar ya is paar, hamare taur tareeke bhale hi alag ho, par hamari kahanian ek hi hain!” We dance on similar tunes, we cry over the same things, we share the same emotions and similar are our passions. Be it Bollywood movies, Pakistani singers or sports.
On May 24, as Zee TV premieres ‘Zee 20 Cricket League’ at 6 PM, and when the match reaches exciting turning points, Mandira Bedi will appear during the strategic timeout segment. She is a name synonymous with cricket and will be seen showcasing ‘Zindagi’ and its launch in India on June 23 through her remarkable commentary on the field.
Bedi said, “Cricket is like a religion in both India and Pakistan. The game fits with the new channel’s Zindagi’s proposition ‘JodeyDilonKo’. It’s a pleasure to be a part of this unique initiative where a 21 year old GEC, ZEE TV helps generate enormous buzz in the country around the launch of its latest competitor – Zindagi – both channels being from the house of ZEE.”
Leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that there is ample buzz surrounding Zindagi’s launch, the channel has launched a 360 degree marketing campaign in digital, radio, print, television and outdoor spaces.
