At the 15th edition of the Indian Digital Marketing Awards (IDMA) held on July 19, UltraTech Cement took home a gold metal for its ‘Ghar Ek, Mauka Ek’ campaign. The brand bagged the gold metal under the ‘Best Multi Mobile Channel Campaign’ sub-category. The media campaign was executed by Mindshare. The awards night celebrated the brands and agencies for their creativity in curating insightful and impressive campaigns. The awards honored the outstanding work done in the digital media domain.
UltraTech Cement launched the campaign message 'Ghar Ek Mauka Ek' to educate people on not compromising on the quality of cement, strengthening its position as the number one cement brand. For about 90% of people in India, building a home is a once-in-a-lifetime event. The campaign delves into the emotional facet of the building process and captures it through the lens of a father-son relationship. It touches upon the emotions that go into the creation of a home and on how one wrong decision can have disastrous consequences on an otherwise perfect home.
UltraTech skilfully redefined the cement-industry narrative with its GharEk-MaukaEk campaign, recognising emotional and aspirational layers intertwined with home-building. Cement, often perceived as a functional component, takes on a profound significance.
