With the country in the grip of patriotic fervour this Republic Day, kids’ channels are out to celebrate the day with some ‘new age’ toon heroes. Nick will air non-stop adventures of ‘Ninja Hattori’ from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on January 26, while Cartoon Network will premier the animated movie ‘Ben 10, Secret of Omnitrix’ under its movie block Cartoon Network Theatre at 11.00 am.

‘Ninja Hattori’ is a classic animated comedy where a little boy called Kennichi befriends an equally little Ninja called Hattori. Hattori, though small in size, is in no way any less powerful than any supreme Ninja.

Cartoon Network’s original show, ‘Ben 10’, launched on the Network on October 10, 2007, now in an animated movie travels through the galaxy in search of the creator of the Omnitrix after accidentally setting it to self-destruct. Created at Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, California, ‘Ben 10’ follows the exciting adventures of 10-year-old Ben, who discovers a strange alien device resembling a wristwatch called the Omnitrix inside a crashed meteorite.

Zee TV will have a special episode of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Team L’il Champs’, where the young contestants, judges Sonu Niigaam and Suresh Wadkar, and some members of the Armed Forces would celebrate Republic Day with Bipasha Basu.
