Nick has announced the launch of the Masti-Dosti Contest, an initiative where kids can win big for themselves and their friends. The contest begins from December 4 on the Masti-Dosti block from 6 pm to 7 pm, Monday to Friday. The shows aired in this block include Spongebob and Patrick, Ninja Hattori and Kenny Chee, and Munnabhai and Circuit.
Speaking on the initiative, Nina Jaipuria, Vice-president and General Manager, Nick India, said, “At the onset of the festive season, Masti-Dosti is Nick’s unique way of reaching out and celebrating the ‘spirit of friendship’ with the kids. Over the past many months, Nick has formed a special bond with the kids and ‘Masti-Dosti’ is an initiative to strengthen that even further.”
According to an official communiqué from Nick, ratings over the last week had placed ‘Ninja Hattori’ in the top slot with a path-breaking TVR of 5.12 followed by ‘Spongebob Squarepants’ with a TVR of 4.92 (TAM Week 46, 7 -2200 hrs, HSM 1 L +, CS, 4-9 ABC). The ratings also make Nick the most ‘stickiest’ channel in the kids category with the maximum time spent at 135.5 minutes (TAM Week 46, 7 -2200 hrs, HSM 1 L +, CS, 4-14 yrs ABC).
To spread the Masti-Dosti fever around, Nick would be soon launching a multi-media campaign comprising television, print and on-ground, including colourfully painted school buses and visits to the agencies by its popular characters – SpongeBob SquarePants and his buddy, Patrick.
