In a momentous development, the ACME Group's 'Connect' Fund has secured its first round of funding, heralding a new dawn for India's Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic (AVGC) sector. This groundbreaking fund, established under the AFPL CAT II AIF Trust and registered with SEBI (Registration No.: IN/AIF2/23/24/1309), is India’s first dedicated financial initiative for the AVGC industry.

Ramon Talwwar, Managing Director and CEO of ACME Group expressed his deep appreciation for the investors’ confidence. "We are thrilled and humbled by the overwhelming support from our investors. This funding round is a crucial milestone in our journey to unlock the immense potential of the AVGC sector," Talwwar commented. Abhinav Shukla, co-founder of the 'Connect' Fund, elaborated on the fund’s forward-thinking strategy. India's AVGC sector, valued at $4 billion today, is anticipated to grow to $12 billion by 2030. The 'Connect' Fund, with a project scope of nearly INR 300 Crores, aims to capitalize on this remarkable growth, providing critical funding to innovative companies within the industry.
