India's finest luxury interiors design show, D/code 2023, a Times Group initiative hosted an immersive 2-day celebration of futuristic designs and décor. As the country's first curated luxury interiors design show, the 6th edition took a step further to define luxury and featured 9 extraordinary curators for the first time. Additionally, it had an engaging array of activities for the visitors, that redefined the boundaries of creativity and innovation. The Design Debate, The Designers Corridor, Speed Dating with the Stars of Design, Mystery BFF Challenge, and Couples in Design were some of the exciting new additions that made it a remarkable experience for the attendees.

The sixth edition of D/code offered an extraordinary display of luxury living with exceptional installations by the renowned architects, designers, and the design students’ team. ‘DEEP JYOTI STAMBH’ by architect Ronak Hingarh symbolized the structure ‘Deepmalas’, inspired from the Indian spirituality. Renowned architect and artist Ashiesh Shah’s collection of ‘21 STAMBHS’ adorned the central lounge at the event. Inspired by the axis mundi, symbolising the earth’s centre connecting sky and land, the Stambhs manifest this concept in three-dimensional form, embracing minimalism. In 2023, Ashiesh showcased a special presentation of 21 STAMBHS for the 2nd G20 culture working group meeting. Created by the visionary designers Chandni Mathur and Nikhil Kapur, Sravanya Rao Pitte, Hameeda and Aamir Sharma, the four escape rooms unravelled an immersive experience for every attendee. All the four escape rooms offered an extraordinary display of vision, and showcased the way designs are experienced at D/code.

‘Natural Harmony’ – an innovative tree crafted by the design students from Pearl Academy took the center stage. It was one of its finest creations by the students that redefined the essence of interior design through a captivating fusion of nature, technology, and human experience. Additionally, bright young minds from Rachana Sansad College of Applied Art and Craft showcased a glimpse into the future via their captivating installations.

Ronitaa R. Italia, Editor in Chief, GoodHomes and Home & Design TRENDS, says, “Quite literally the country’s first and (dare I say so myself) finest curated, luxury interiors show, it was my pleasure to bring to you the sixth edition of D/code.
