The much-awaited Laqshya Pitch CMO Awards 2024 was held at Taj Santacruz in Mumbai on March 21. The spectacular awards night was graced by industry titans, leaders, and experts across marketing, media, and advertising sphere. The night honoured the brightest minds in Indian marketing domain for their outstanding work, creativity and innovation.

Laqshya Pitch CMO Awards serve as a platform where innovation meets recognition, and brilliance shines brightest. The awards aim to honour the best marketing professionals in India, recognizing individuals for their innovative, creative, and collaborative efforts over the past year. These awards honour the trailblazers of marketing, celebrating their creativity and game-changing strategies which makes them stand out from the rest.

The industry luminaries were recognised and honoured across 16 different categories for their path-breaking works throughout 2023. The selection process involved a thorough research and deliberation by a team of analysts and editors who focused on key parameters like driving initiatives that contribute towards sustainable business growth/practices; optimising their marketing organisation, delivering outstanding innovation and creative effectiveness and playing an industry leadership role.

In ‘The CMO Rising Star Award’ category, the winners were Aakriti Thakur, AVP - Brand & Marketing, Healthians and Ajay Maurya, Head of Marketing and Product – Fastrack, Titan Company Limited.

In ‘The CMO Social Responsibility Award’ category, the winners included Gunjit Jain, Vice-President – Marketing, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited; Rasika Prashant, Chief Marketing Officer, Tata Consumer Soulfull Private Limited; Saurabh Jain, Chief Marketing Officer, Zydus Wellness.

At the Pitch CMO Awards 2024, the ‘CMO Creator Ecosystem Award’ was bagged by Vanda Ferrao, Chief Marketing Officer, WOW Skin Care. Meanwhile, the ‘CMO Content Engagement Award’ was given to Rahul Talwar, EVP & Chief Marketing Officer, Max Life Insurance and Prashant Jain, Senior Director, Marketing, HP India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh.

The award for ‘Innovation In Use Of Technology For Customer Experience’ was bagged by Rajendran S, Orra Fine Jewellery, Chief Marketing Officer and Dr. Ashish Bajaj, Narayana Health, Chief Marketing Officer.

The ‘CMO Customer Experience Award’ was given to Abhijit Shah, Head—Marketing, Digital & Customer Experience, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd; Sajeev Chemmany, Chief Marketing Officer, Kalyan Jewellers India Limited and Shwetal Basu, Chief of Marketing and Communication, Shoppers Stop.

In the ‘CMO Digital Excellence Award’ category, the winners were Gaurav Mehta, Chief Marketing Officer, Noise; Kunal Dubey, Chief Marketing Officer, Cleartrip; Kumar Gaurav, Chief Marketing Officer, Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd, Neha Anand, Mahindra Automotive, Vice President- Global Brand and Communications and Sooraj Balakrishnan, Acer, Head of Marketing.

In the ‘Excellence In Data Driven Marketing’ category, the awards were given to Jatin Chhikara, Global Head of Digital and CRM, Royal Enfield; Ranjeet Ahluwalia, Vice President, Marketing & Communications, PVR INOX Limited and Santosh Vuppala,  Head, Analytics and Insights, Titan Company Limited.

In ‘The CMO Transformation Award’ category, Aparna Bhawal, Chief Marketing Officer, KFC India and Partner Countries; Azmat Habibulla, South Indian Bank, Chief Marketing Officer; Anirban Banerjee, Sr. Vice President & SBU Head (Batteries & Flashlights), Eveready India Ltd. and Pranesh Urs, VP & Head of Marketing, Ather took home the honour.

The ‘CMO Innovation Award’ was given to three winners - Arnab Roy, Vice President, Marketing, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia; Arindam Paul, Founding Member & Chief Business Officer, Atomberg Technologies and Prerna Tiku, Chief Marketing Officer, MTR.

The winners of the ‘CMO Change Through Technology Award’ category included Anand Dubey, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, Head – Marketing; Mohan Menon, Chief Marketing Officer, Metropolis; Ronak Sheth, Chief Marketing Officer, 360 ONE and Sarthak Seth, Sr. VP and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Tata Realty & Infrastructure Limited (TRIL).

In the ‘CMO Experiential Marketing Award’ category, Lakshmi Narayanan B, Chief Marketing Officer, CEAT Limited; Poulomi Roy, Chief Marketing Officer, Joy Personal Care (RSH Global) and Sunder Balasubramanian, Chief Marketing Officer, Myntra took home the honour.

In ‘The CMO Growth Award’ category, the winners included Amit Gujral, Chief Marketing Officer, JK Tyre; Deba Ghoshal, Vice President, and Head of Marketing, Voltas Limited and Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.

In ‘The CMO Leadership Award’ category, Nitin Saini, Vice President – Marketing, Mondelez India ; Shubhranshu Singh, Chief Marketing Officer, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles; Sunil Suresh, CMO, Global Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications, Loyalty & E-commerce, Air India and Viral Oza Chief Marketing Officer, Mahindra Lifespaces.
