Mayank Pareek, sales chief at Maruti Suzuki has put in his papers, as per media reports. Pareek has been with the auto giant for over two decades. Several media reports also hinted that although the reasons for his resignation are unknown, he may be heading to TATA Motors.
Pareek’s resignation is close to the launch of the new Ciaz slated to enter the market in October.
Pareek had played an operative role in strengthening Maruti Suzuki’s leadership position in India.
He had joined MSIL in 1991 and has extensive experience in various aspects of the business such as sales, corporate planning, dealer development, and marketing.
