Raghunandan Srinivas Kamath, the visionary founder of one of India's top ice cream brands, Naturals Ice Cream, passed away at the age of 70. Known affectionately as the "Ice Cream Man of India," Kamath took his last breath at Mumbai's H N Reliance Foundation Hospital on the evening of May 17, following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife and two sons.

Kamath's journey began in Mulki, a town in the Mangalore taluk of the Dakshina Kannada region in Karnataka. From these humble beginnings, he went on to establish Naturals Ice Cream, which has grown into a brand valued at approximately ₹400 crore. His innovative approach to ice cream, focusing on natural ingredients and unique flavors, revolutionized the industry and earned him widespread acclaim.
