Shoppers Stop appoints Uma Talreja as Chief Marketing Officer
Currently based in Mumbai, Talreja has vast experience working in the retail and fashion industry
Shoppers Stop has appointed Uma Talreja as Chief Marketing Officer. This is her second stint at Shoppers Stop. Talreja was previously Chief Digital Officer of Strategy at Raymond, where she led the digital transformation and customer-centric strategy.
Currently based in Mumbai, she has a vast experience of having working in the retail and fashion industry. Prior to Raymond, she held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Burger King.
Talreja began her career with Indian liquor manufacturer, Shaw Wallace in 1999 as an Assistant Product Manager. Earlier at Shoppers Stop, she was Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Communications for five years, after which she had joined Aditya Birla Retail (More) in 2007, where she worked for three years.
