Discovery Communications has appointed former CEO of Hathway Video Business, TS Panesar, as the head of the DSPORT channel business in India.
DSPORT is an all-new premium sports channel launched in India by Discovery Communications earlier this year in February. The launch of the channel was seen as the first time in over 10 years for a media company to introduce a new sports platform for the Indian market.
