UFO Moviez reports 35% increase in consolidated revenues in Q4
The company’s EBITDA has also increased by 32% in Q4FY24
UFO Moviez has reported 35% increase in consolidated revenues for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2024.
The consolidated revenue has gone up from Rs 88.4 crore to Rs 119.2 crore.
While EBITDA has increased by 32% from ₹ 11.5 cr in Q4FY23 to ₹ 15.2 cr in Q4FY24,
PBT has improved from negative ₹ 0.7 crore in Q4FY23 to ₹ 7.7 crore in Q4FY24.
PAT has also increased to ₹ 6 cr versus negative of ₹ 1.2 cr in Q4FY23.
“FY24 saw a diverse range of film releases across languages and genres, from big-budget spectacles to regional gems and sleeper hits. The industry's resilience in meeting changing consumer demands was evident,” said Rajesh Mishra, Executive Director and Group CEO.”
“Despite significant content volatility this year, the overall business saw improvement, marking FY24 the first profitable financial year since FY20. The cost optimization measures along with the steady theatrical revenue, improved advertising revenues and expanded advertisement screen network has helped to strengthen the financial position and market presence.
