Volkswagen’s Kamal Basu takes up advisory role at Nissan India

After moving on from Volkswagen in January this year, Kamal Basu has taken up an advisory role at Nissan India Ltd.
Basu was earlier heading marketing and PR at the German car manufacturer's operations in India.
Prior to joining Volkswagen, Basu headed the marketing operations at SKODA India. He has also been associated with Saatchi & Saatchi in the role of CEO. An MBA graduate from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Basu earlier worked with Ogilvy & Mather India as Vice President.
