Wavemaker wins ‘Best Digital & Social Media Agency of the Year’ award at IDMA 2024
The agency took home 36 metals including 18 golds, 12 silver and 6 bronze metals across categories
The exchange4media Group hosted the much-awaited Indian Digital Marketing Awards (IDMA) on Friday in Mumbai. At the spectacular awards night, Wavemaker, a GroupM-owned media agency, was awarded the ‘Best Digital, Social Media and Mobile Media Agency of the Year’ honour. The 15th edition of IDMA was held in Mumbai. The agency took home 36 metals at IDMA including 18 golds, 12 silver and 6 bronze metals across categories for their exemplary work, creativity and innovation.
The Indian Digital Marketing Awards celebrates the outstanding work done in the digital media ecosystem and honours brands and agencies for their excellence, innovation and creativity for curating insightful and impressive campaigns. Apart from Wavemaker, the big wins of the night were bagged by Mindshare India, Mondelez India, L'Oréal India and Hari Menon in the 'Hall of Fame' category.
On winning the title, Ajay Gupte, CEO, South Asia at Wavemaker expressed delight via a LinkedIn post. "Wavemaker India bags our fourth Agency of the year for 2024!! The Indian Digital Marketing Awards was established in 2010 with an aim to recognize, celebrate and encourage the work being done in the digital media space. This year, the e4m IDMA 2024 jury was chaired by Suresh Narayanan- Chairman & Managing Director, Nestlé India. The other jury members were industry leaders, seasoned professionals, and renowned personalities from the industry.
IDMA recognises brands and agencies across eight prime categories, which are further divided into several sub-categories. The major categories include Web, Mobile and Tablets, Social Media, Search and PPC campaigns, For Small Medium Business, For Start-Ups, Hall Of Fame Awards and Special Awards.
