Axis Finance can’t oppose merger with Sony: ZEEL

ZEEL has said Axis Finance doesn't have any locus to oppose its merger with Sony's Culver Max Entertainment as Axis Finance is not a creditor, media networks have reported.
The national law tribunal's Mumbai bench is currently hearing a plea filed by Zee to approve the merger.
Zee's counsel has said that the opposing parties have not been able to prove how the merger was "prejudicial to them".
The national law appellate tribunal in February had stayed NCLT's insolvency order against the media company.
