CBZ X-Treme, Honda Civic bag top honours at NDTV Profit Car & Bike Awards

Hero Honda CBZ X-Treme and Honda Civic were named the best bike and best car of 2006, respectively, at the annual NDTV Profit Car and Bike India Awards held in Mumbai recently. Anand Mahindra was declared the Automobile Man of the Year for his contribution to the Indian automobile industry.

Hero Honda CBZ X-Treme and Honda Civic were named the best bike and best car of 2006, respectively, at the annual NDTV Profit Car and Bike India Awards held in Mumbai recently. Anand Mahindra, Vice Chairman and MD, M&M, was declared the Automobile Man of the Year for his contribution to the Indian automobile industry.

Honda Civic and TVS Apache won the Viewers’ Choice Awards, while the Marketing Team Award went to General Motors.

Speaking on the occasion, M Takedagawa, President and CEO, Honda Siel Cars India, said, “Civic has done us proud across the world with its style, technology and its ability to adapt ongoing innovation and it is heartening to know it’s the same for India.”
