DD Purkaystha’s memoir and maiden book ‘Headline: Memoir of a Media CEO’ will be launched on April 18 in Kolkata.
DD Purkaystha, the former long-standing CEO of ABP Group, is one of the most respected CEOs in the Indian media landscape. He has written his maiden book titled "Headline Memoir of a Media CEO".
DDP, as Mr Purkaystha is known, is serving on the board of ABP Limited post his tenure as a CEO at ABP Group, which came to an end a couple of years back.
The book launch will be attended by Dhruba Mukherjee, the current CEO of ABP. Sankarshan Thakur, the Editor of The Telegraph, will then have a fireside chat with Mr Purkayastha.
‘Headline’ is the story of a small-town boy from a remote town who reaches the highest rung of the glitzy media corporate house. The story is intertwined between Mr Purkaystha’s life and the media.
The book is likely to be launched in Delhi also next week.
