Delhi HC asks Cong leaders to delete tweets against Rajat Sharma

X Corp has moved the court saying that Rajat Sharma’s video is neither fake nor edited

The Delhi High Court has asked Congress's Ragini Nayak, Jairam Ramesh and Pawan Khera to delete allegedly defamatory tweets against Rajat Sharma, as per an order passed on June 14, media networks have reported. These posts have reportedly been blocked by X.

Meanwhile, X Corp has moved court saying that the video posted by the Congress leaders was not fake or edited. As per the social media company, the original footage is up on Rajat Sharma-owned India TV's YouTube channel.

The Delhi high court had earlier pulled up X Corp for contesting an order asking it to take down posts that alleged senior journalist and India TV editor-in-chief Rajat Sharma had used foul language against Congress leader Ragini Nayak during a TV show.

As reported on July 3, the court had told X Corp that it should only act as a neutral intermediary.
