EEMA releases SOPs for industry to resume operations

The Events and Entertainment Managmenet Association (EEMA) has welcomed the government's decision to permit the industry to restart work from September 21, according to media reports.
The industry has been allowded to start operations under Unlock 4.0. The events industry has been allowed to resume work with a cap of 100 persons.
A webinar was reportedly organised by EEMA on Sunday to release the standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The SOP document was officially released by the special guest of honour Valsa Singh Nair, Principal Secretary, Toursim and Culture, Maharashtra government.
EEMA has reportedly also set up a Governement Relations Committee to discuss the SOPs with the Central and state governments. 
At the event, EEMA president Rohsan Abbas said when Covid-19 hit, the events industry was steadily clocking a double-digit growth rate.
