Info Edge India reports 326 per cent jump in net profit for Q2FY08
Info Edge India, promoter of websites like Naukri.com and Jeevansathi.com, has reported a 326 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 15.14 crore for Q2FY08, as compared to Rs 3.55 crore for Q2FY07.

Info Edge India, promoter of websites like Naukri.com and Jeevansathi.com, has reported a 326 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 15.14 crore for Q2FY08, as compared to Rs 3.55 crore for Q2FY07. Revenue for the quarter was up by 80 per cent to Rs 58.50 crore from Rs 32.54 crore in Q2FY07. EBITDA for the quarter grew by 227 per cent year-on-year to Rs 22.08 crore.
Ambarish Raghuvanshi, CFO and Director, Info Edge, said, “Info Edge has reported a 326 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 15.14 crore for its quarter ended September 2007, as compared to Rs 3.55 crore for Q2FY07.”
The new businesses of the promoter group, Jeevansathi.com and 99acres.com, continue to be in investment mode incurring losses.
