The Jagran Prakashan Board has recommended appointing Anita Nayyar, Dr Punita Kumar Sinha, Jayant Davar and Ravi Sardana as Independent Directors in the ensuing Annual General Meeting
Jagran Prakashan also informed the BSE that due to their pre-occupations current Independent Directors of the company – Gavin K O’ Reilly, Rashid Mirza and Vikram Bakshi – have requested for resignation from the Board of Directors.
In the Board meeting of the company held on July 31, 2014 all the resignations have been accepted.
