Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia has assumed charge as the Union Minister of Communications for the next five years. Along with this, he will also act as the Minister of Development - North Eastern Region.

The ministry was handled by Ashwini Vaishnaw until now.

Additionally, Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani will take over as the Minister of State for the Ministry of Communications.

He is a Member of Parliament from Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur constituency.
