Based on the work that Lodestar Universal has done in India for Monster.com, the job portal has now decided to award the media duties of its Asia and Middle East businesses also to the Lodestar Universal.

As is known, Monster.com in India is a Rs 20 crore-business and the job portal has aggressive plans for the Asia and Middle East markets. Anamika Mehta, VP, Lodestar Universal, explained that even as the Monster.com business is not yet as big in the other markets as it is in India, the potential is huge, and that is what Lodestar Universal counterparts in other markets is looking to build.

Following this development, the planning and buying of the activities would be decentralised, wherein the area specific offices in Asia and Middle East will take care of the client.

Mehta explained that one factor that may have worked in favour of the agency was the media approach that the agency had taken towards Monster.com. She said, “We have always had a 360-degree approach towards Monster.com. We have also effectively used the association of the client with properties like cricket, and some of the results from this is very encouraging.”
