Attavar died after falling from a window of a nightspot in Bangalore
Pavan Attavar, Media Manager at The Printers Mysore Pvt Ltd, and a friend died on Friday after accidentally falling from a window of a nightspot on Church Street in Bangalore.
Preliminary investigations have revealed lapses in the building’s construction, which may have led to the deaths.
Attavar, an alumnus of De Montfort University, started his career as a Management Consultant with Xylem Resource Management. He served as Deputy Manager at Metropolitan Media Company Ltd ( MMCL), a Times Group company, from 2011 to 2015. During his stint with The Hindu from 2015 to 2017, he held the position of Assistant Regional Manager.
Industry colleagues remembered Attavar as a friendly, enthusiastic and resourceful person. Many expressed shock and disbelief at the unfortunate and untimely demise.
