Vice Media India appoints Zeyad Masroor Khan as Commissioning Editor

The American-Canadian digital media and broadcasting company, Vice Media India has appointed Zeyad Masroor Khan as Commissioning Editor for culture and feature.
In his decade-long career, Khan has written on politics, culture, media, oppressed groups, drugs, crime and pop culture.
Khan has earlier served stints at Reuters, Vice, Brut India and Deccan Herald.
Interestingly, in a recent report by New York Times, Vice Media Group, the company behind popular media websites such as Vice and Motherboard, is preparing to file for bankruptcy.
The media firm has received interest from five companies and might consider a sale to avoid bankruptcy, the NYT report said, adding that in the event of a bankruptcy, which could happen in the coming weeks, Vice's debtholder Fortress Investment Group could end up controlling the company.
