A true general, he led from the front: Varghese Chandy on R Rajmohan’s retirement

For the past nine years, R Rajmohan has been a strong pillar of my team, serving as the CMO for the North and East regions. Notably, this has been his longest tenure at any organization.
Our paths first crossed back in the eighties in Delhi. I was managing the Malayala Manorama branch at that time, while Raj was with the Times of India. R Rajmohan is a man of exceptional integrity, wisdom, and leadership.
A true general, he led from the front, and a brilliant strategist who consistently guided his team to achieve, and even surpass, organizational goals. Six months ago, Raj informed me of his desire to explore life to the fullest as he approaches his 60th birthday.
He wants to embrace new experiences and break free from routine. While I tried my best to convince him to stay, his decision was resolute. Raj's exciting new chapter begins on July 1st. We wish him all the very best. I will miss him.
