Anupam Aashish joins RPSG's Media Vertical as Head of Marketing
Prior to joining RPSG Group, Aashish held several key positions at ABP Network
Anupam Aashish, former Marketing Head of ABP News and ABP Live, has joined RP Sanjiv Goenka (RPSG) Group's Media Vertical as the Head of Marketing. With a background in brand strategy, digital marketing, events, and brand solutions, he brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, where he is expected to drive impactful marketing strategies for the group.
Prior to joining RPSG Group in July 2024, Aashish held several key positions at ABP Network.
As the Marketing Head for ABP News & ABP Live, from May 2022 to July 2024, he played a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, enhancing market presence, and leading innovative marketing campaigns for one of India’s leading news networks. Before this role, he served as the Marketing Head of ABP Ganga and the National Lead for Events & Brand Solutions at ABP News from April 2019 to May 2022. During this period, he was instrumental in shaping the marketing direction for the network and expanding its footprint through effective brand solutions and events.
His journey with ABP Network began in July 2017 as the Marketing Manager for ABP News, where he contributed significantly to the network’s growth for nearly two years. He has also worked as the Marketing Head for 91.9 Friends FM, the ABP Group's radio station in Kolkata, from April 2015 to July 2017. In this role, he managed all brand and marketing activities, both Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL), enhancing the station's reach and brand equity.
Before his tenure at ABP Network, Aashish held several managerial roles at The Telegraph. He was the Business Head of The Telegraph Young Minds Vertical from April 2013 to March 2015, where he was responsible for driving brands, circulation, and national ad sales for ‘Telekids’, The Telegraph in Schools, and ‘Young Metro’, the publication’s three standalone print offerings targeted at young readers. His experience at The Telegraph also includes his role as Deputy Manager for the same vertical and Deputy Brand Manager for The Telegraph in Schools, where he focused on brand promotion strategies and activities.
