Taking forward its Mumbai Search initiative, Hindustan Times is embarking on its Mission Fitter drive from August 25, 2011 to make Mumbaikars more health conscious. The initiative has been planned on the basis of a health and fitness survey carried out by the group.

Speaking to exchange4media on the initiative, Shantanu Bhanja, VP - Marketing, Hindustan Times, said that HT was committed to its readers to give them exclusive content on various subjects. “Through this campaign, our readers will get to know more about the health problems and possible remedies,” he added.

The group has set aside a “large budget” for various campaigns, which include on ground activities and OOH campaigns. among others.

Meanwhile, HT launched an education supplement called HT Education from August 24. The supplement will be available every Wednesday with the main edition of Hindustan Times. Bhanja said, “The exclusive education supplement of HT is a well researched and differentiated product. We are hoping it will get massive response from the market.”
