India Today’s S Prasannarajan to join Open as Editor on February 6
The news has been confirmed by R Rajmohan, Publisher, Open. Meanwhile, PR Ramesh, former National Political Editor of The Economic Times, has joined Open as Managing Editor with effect
Open magazine, which had seen the exit of two of its top editorial hands – Manu Joseph and Hartosh Singh Bal – in quick succession, has beefed up its editorial team with two key appointments. S Prasannarajan, Managing Editor, India Today is joining Open as Editor. The news has been confirmed by R Rajmohan, Publisher, Open. Prasannarajan will take over his new role from February 6, 2014.
Rajmohan also confirmed that PR Ramesh, former National Political Editor of The Economic Times, has joined Open as Managing Editor with effect from January 6, 2014. It may be recalled that exchange4media had reported about Ramesh’s move to Open in November 2013. However, no official confirmation was available at that time.
Ramesh was selected for the Prem Bhatia Award for his political, economic and scientific reporting in 2012.
