The Indian Express Private Limited (TIEPL) has posted an operating income of Rs 462.6 crore in FY19, as per media reports.
Its net profit for FY19 stands at Rs 19.2 crore. In the previous fiscal it was Rs 33.2 crore.
The company’s ad revenue growth, as per reports, has been hit due to the 2018 government order that no longer mandated publication of tender ads in newspapers.
TIEPL is the publisher of The Indian Express, Loksatta, Jansatta and The Financial Express.
The company is promoted by Viveck Goenka along with his son Anant Goenka.
