IRS Q3 2011: Jagran, Bhaskar continue to lead Hindi dailies

Hindi dailies have seen their Average Issue Readership (AIR) go up marginally by 0.40 per cent as Jagran and Bhaskar continue to lead the field.

Hindi dailies have seen their Average Issue Readership (AIR) go up marginally by 0.40 per cent as Jagran and Bhaskar continue to lead the field.

Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, Hindustan, Prabhat Khabar and Patrika have seen growth in their AIR as per the IRS Q3 2011 results.

Dainik Jagran has recorded an AIR of 16,458,000 in Q3 2011from 16,393,000 in the previous quarter. Dainik Bhaskar’s Q3 AIR stands at 14,876,000, as compared to an AIR of 14,174,000 in Q2 2011, a growth of 4.95 per cent.

Hindustan is placed third among Hindi dailies with an AIR of 12,033,000 in Q3 2011.

Amar Ujala, Rajasthan Patrika, Punjab Kesari, Navbharat Times and Nai Dunia have seen a dip in their Average Issue Readerships in this quarter.
