Kalli Purie appointed as Vice Chairperson of India Today Group
Aroon Purie, the India Today Group Chairman and Editor-in-Chief today appointed his daughter Kallie Purie as the Vice Chairperson of the group
Aroon Purie reportedly said in an email sent to the employees that Kalli Purie has been appointed as the Vice Chairperson of The India Today Group.
During her 20 year long association with Group, Kalli Purie has held several important posts. Until now, she was the Group Editorial Director (Broadcast & New Media)
“I have been at the helm of the India Today Group for 42 years and been much involved in its day to day operations. I would now like to spend my time on strategic steering of the Group and exploring new opportunities,” Puri reportedly said in an email addressed to the employees on Tuesday.
As per the new order, the Group CFO and the new Group CEO when appointed will report to Kalli Purie.
