Metro Vaartha, the daily newspaper from Kerala has recently launched a new campaign to spread awareness about the popular south Indian festival –Onam.

The campaign has been planned in the form of friendly story telling series titled –Another step closer to understanding your Malayali Dost. The aim of the campaign is to highlight the key rituals associated with this festival and capture the essence of Onam.

 The campaign is also part of an awareness drive among marketers and media fraternity in the east, west and north regions to know the festival of Onam in detail, just like they are familiar with other major festivals like Diwali, Eid etc.

It must be mentioned that Metro Vaartha is the first metro morning daily form Kerala published in Malayalam from Kochi/ Trivandrum / Calicut and Thrissur.
