The delivery of newspapers at the doorstep is likely to resume from June 7 in Mumbai with Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray giving a go-ahead for the same, according to media reports.

The government, as per reports, has said that hand sanitisers and masks will be made available to delivery boys in keeping with the COVID-19 safety norms.

All print media houses in Mumbai suspended publishing and distribution of their print editions on March 23 after vendors announced that they would not be able to distribute the papers due to the coronavirus scare. The cancellation of local train services had made it even more difficult for circulation of newspapers.
