Patanjali issued fresh apologies in newspapers on Wednesday, a day after the Supreme Court pulled it up over the size of the apologies, news agencies have reported.

The apology ads carried on Wednesday were much bigger in size than earlier.

Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali has apologised for carrying out misleading communication about their products.

The apology text reads: "We earnestly apologize for the mistake made in publishing our advertisements and it is our whole-hearted commitment that such errors will not be repeated."

During Tuesday’s hearing, Patanjali informed the Supreme Court that it has published an apology in 67 newspapers across the country.

The court responded with a scathing query. "Was it of the same size as your earlier ads?" Justice Hima Kohli asked.

Patanjali has been under fire for allegedly issuing misleading ads.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has asked the Centre and the Indian Medical Association what steps it has taken against other FMCGs who have put out similar misleading ads.
IMA was also pulled up for "laxity" in standards for ads marketing "allopathic medical products".
