Sanjoy Narayan has stepped down as Editor-in-Chief Hindustan Times.
Narayan joined Hindustan Times in August 2008. Prior to HT, he was the Editor of Business Today for more than eight years where he led from the front to successfully positioned it as the leader in the business magazines' genre. Besides editing Business Today, he headed the India Today Group's digital division and kick started several initiatives in the online and digital space.
He started his career in 1982 and has worked at Business World, The Economic Times and The Telegraph (Calcutta) as a writer, reporter and editor. Narayan holds a degree in Economics from Presidency College, Kolkata
