The Times of India has come up with a video that talks about how printing is a highly automated process and goes on without any human contact. The video is aimed at dispelling fears and false information surrounding COVID-19 being spread through handling and distribution of newspapers. The video talks about robotic handling of newsprint and other raw materials to printing, folding, packaging and dispatch.

Furthermore, printed bundles of newspapers are loaded for transport in fumigated vehicles by handlers wearing gloves and face masks. Times of India also points out that hygiene protocols are being followed at newspaper depots before dispatch to readers' homes.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has also issued a directive to all states and Union territories to ensure the operational continuity of Print media as a way to allow the public to remain informed during the COVID-19 outbreak.
