Ajay Upadhyay, senior journalist and former Group Editor of Hindustan, passed away in Varanasi at the age of 66.
Reports indicate that Upadhyay, who was staying in a hotel in Varanasi, experienced a sudden deterioration in his health and was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he could not be saved. He had been suffering from an ongoing medical condition that led to his untimely demise.
His last rites will be performed on July 7 in New Delhi.
