Das passed away on Friday, January 17 in Kozhikode, Kerala
Veteran journalist and writer IV Babu Das passed away on Friday. Das was the Deputy Editor of Thalasamayam newspaper.
Das has worked as Assistant Editor of 'Malayalam Varika'. He has also held the position of Deputy Editor of 'Mangalam' and Assistant Editor of 'Deshabhimani'. He has also served as a member of UG Board of Studies in Journalism at Calicut University.
Das was born in 1965 near Mokeri in Thalasserry, to IV Das, who was a member of CPM state committee and former editor of Deshabhimani weekly, and Susheela.
Das breathed his last at a private hospital in Kozhikode, Kerala where he was undergoing treatment for jaundice.
