BIG FM has announced the launch of its new station in Rajkot. This is the 21st station from the Adlabs Films-owned radio network. The second phase of launches from the player in several mini-metros will take the total count of its stations to 45.

BIG FM intends to continue with its positioning of ‘Hot Adult Contemporary’ music mix in the new city too. With this, the station intends to ensure that apart from the current favourite music, the station also plays popular songs from across eras.

Speaking on the station’s programming in Rajkot, Tarun Katial, COO, BIG FM, said, “The programming mix of the station has been put together after much research and understanding of our listeners’ requirements. It is our aim to create content that is relevant, credible and has an aspirational value to the listeners. We are sure the city will welcome us with open arms and will enjoy the programmes on our station.”

The station, in its second phase of launch, has already been playing in the cities of Jammu, Srinagar, Aligarh, Jhansi, Bikaner, Chandigarh, Bareilly, Hissar, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Jalandhar, Goa, Bhopal and very recently in Vadodara.
