Bonding all the way with Radio Mirchi next year
Radio Mirchi is planning to have a great ‘Bond’ with its listeners in 2007 with a huge cache of ‘Bond’ing activities lined up over the year. The FM station is planning to retain this concept with contests, opinion polls, and exciting new contents.
Radio Mirchi has planned to christen 2007 as the ‘Year of the Bond’. The FM channel also has plans to have a mantra for the year – you’re not on if you’re not Bond. Radio Mirchi plans to kick off the Year of the Bond with various year-end programmes lined up on the channel like Mirchi Top 100, etc.
Radio Mirchi RJs will declare the Bonds of 2007 based on their achievements in 2006. Listeners will be involved in every stage of the 007 year. According to an official communiqué, “It is a position of empowerment, taking charge of one’s life, being in control of one’s destiny and not allowing anything to come in the way of one’s mission.”
As part of the year-end programming strategy, the channel has roped in actor Govinda to take lucky couples on a ride in the ‘Radio Mirchi Love Taxi’ driven by him. A countdown of top 100 music songs of 2006 is already on air on in the programme ‘Bumper to Bumper’, while the grand finale will be aired on December 30.
“The basic philosophy is simple: 2007 is the year when you stop worrying and you start acting; the year when you let go of fear and let in courage; the year when you forget the past, and live in the now. This is the year to believe, to act, to take charge,” the communiqué added.
