The exchange4media Group hosted the 12th edition of e4m Golden Mikes Awards on Wednesday, June 26, at a star-studded award ceremony in Mumbai.

The prestigious awards honours and recognises the exceptional and innovative excellence in the Radio & Audio industry and celebrates the outstanding campaigns done by brands, agencies and radio stations. The big award of the night ‘Radio Station of the Year’ was awarded to Red FM.

The radio channel bagged a total of 35 metals, including 10 golds, 13 silver and 12 bronze metals across categories for their excellence, innovation and creativity. The other key winners of e4m Golden Mikes Awards 2024 that won big include Aaj Tak Radio, Big FM, Fever FM, Gulf Oil, Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda and Axis Bank.

In the excellence category, the RJ of the year (Hindi/ English Language) was awarded to four RJs. While Big FM’s RJ Vrajesh Hirjee won gold, Big FM’s RJ Annu Kapoor, Radio Mirchi RJ Jeeturaaj and RJ Ginnie Mahajan of Radio City 91.1 won silver metals for their outstanding work. In the RJ of the Year (Other Language) category, RJ Shonali of Music Broadcast Limited and Big FM’s RJ Ayantika bagged gold metals, RJ Firoz of BIG FM and RJ Agni of Radio Mirchi - 98.3 FM won silver metals while RJ Aishappath Adhishh of Radio Mirchi/ENIL bagged a bronze metal.

In the ‘New Aspiring RJ of the Year’ category, RJ Pareee of Radio Nasha won silver while RJ Astha of Radio Mirchi (ENIL) took home a bronze metal. In the ‘Celebrity RJ of the Year’ category, Virender Sehwag for Fever FM, Sonu Nigam for Radio Mirchi/ENIL and Annu Kapoor for BIG FM, all three took home the silver metal. The ‘Influencer RJ of the Year’ was awarded to Mirchi’s Naved and RJ Rahul Makin of Fever FM who won silver and bronze, respectively.

In the ‘Best Show Produced’ category, Aaj Tak Radio’s Ek Bakhat Ki Baat won a gold metal for their path-breaking work while Radio Mango’s Celebrity Playlist and Josh Junction won silver and bronze metals, respectively. The Best Show Host (Podcast) was awarded to two winners. While RJ Akhil of Radio City and Radio City Digital      won a silver metal, Big FM’s Bhawana Somaaya took home the bronze metal. The ‘Best Podcast of the Year’ was given to BIG FM’s ‘Abhishapt’, Entertainment Network India Limited’s ‘Ek Tha Legend - Story of Sidhu Moose Wala’ who bagged silver metals while Aaj Tak ‘Radio’s Nothing But The Truth’ won bronze.
