RAM Rambling: Radio Mirchi continues to be Mumbai’s top flavour

Radio Mirchi remains the hot favourite FM station in the Mumbai market as per RAM data for a six-week average ending with Week 36. According to the market share figures of radio channels during the last six weeks, Radio Mirchi ended Week 36 with a market share of 17.6 per cent.
According to RAM data, in the entire 12-plus category, for a week average ending with Week 36, Red FM had a market share of 13.8 per cent. Close on its heels was Radio City with a market share of 13.5 per cent. Big FM had a market share of 11.8 per cent.
AIR FM 2 Gold scored among the Mumbai women, garnering a market share of 11.5 per cent during the same period. Fever FM ended with a market share of 11.2 per cent, while Radio One ended with market share of 6.1 per cent, in the average of the last six weeks.
AIR FM 1 Rainbow had a 5.4 per cent market share, followed by Vivid Bharati with a 4.5 per cent market share. Meow FM ended with a market share of 2.7 per cent. Akashvani ended with a market share of 2.3 per cent.
