RAM ratings week 50: Big FM and Fever rule Mumbai and Delhi respectively

Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi lead in Bangalore and Kolkata respectively

Week 50 of RAM Ratings witnessed Big FM topping Mumbai with the highest listenership while Fever continued to dominate Delhi. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi dominated in Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.


This week in the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Big FM led the market with 14.3 per cent share followed by Fever and Radio Mirchi on second and third slots with 13.5 and 13.1 per cent share respectively. Radio City and Red FM bagged fourth and fifth spots with 13.1 and 11 per cent share. Early Morning followed by morning and mid morning time band observed highest listenership on total Radio.

Fever continued to dominate the Delhi market in a Universe of 16.5 million listeners with 19.6 per cent share followed by Radio Nasha and Radio Mirchi with 12.9 per cent and 12 per cent share respectively. Radio City and AIR FM2 Gold stood on number four and five with 11 per cent and 10.7 per cent of share. Night time band followed by Mid Morning and Morning time band observed highest listenership on total radio.

In Bangalore, Radio City maintained its leadership position with 24.1 per cent in the universe of 5.3 million listeners followed by Big FM at 19.5 per cent and Radio Mirchi  with a 16.3 per cent share. Fever FM and Red FM also maintained their slots this week with 14 per cent and 6.2 per cent share. Here evening followed by Afternoon and Mid Morning time band observed highest listenership on total radio.

Kolkata market was dominated by Radio Mirchi in the terms of share by 21.4 per cent followed by Big FM and Fever FM with 18.3 per cent and 15.7 per cent respectively in week 50. Red FM and Amar FM grabbed fourth and fifth positions with 9.7 per cent and 9.6 per cent share respectively. Afternoon followed by Mid Morning and Evening time band observed highest listenership on total radio here.
