Ram Ratings Week 51: Fever leads Mumbai and Delhi
Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi continue to dominate Bangalore and Kolkata respectively
Week 51 of RAM Ratings witnessed Fever topping Mumbai and Delhi with the highest listenership. Fever displaced Big FM in Mumbai market to lead the same. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi dominated in Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.
This week in the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever FM took over Big FM to lead the market with 15.5 per cent share followed by the latter and Radio Mirchi with 14.1 and 13.6 per cent share respectively. Radio City and Red FM retained their fourth and fifth spots with 13.1 and 10.5 per cent share. Early morning followed by night and morning time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
Fever continued to dominate the Delhi market in a universe of 16.5 million listeners with a similar figure of 19.6 per cent share. Radio Mirchi and Radio Nasha interchanged its position on week 51 to second and third spot with 12.5 per cent and 12.1 per cent share respectively. Radio City and AIR FM2 Gold held on to their fourth and fifth spot with 12 per cent and 10.6 per cent of share. The evening followed by night and morning time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
In Bangalore, Radio City maintained its leadership position with 24.3 per cent in the universe of 5.3 million listeners followed by Big FM at 19.5 per cent and Radio Mirchi. The latter two stuck on to their positions with 18.5 per cent and 16.6 per cent share. Fever FM and Red FM also retained their fourth and fifth slots this week with 14.3 per cent and 5.8 per cent share. Here mid-morning followed evening and afternoon time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
Kolkata market was dominated by Radio Mirchi in the terms of share by 20.9 per cent. Fever FM and Big FM exchanged their slots to second and third slots with 16.8 per cent and 16.7 per cent respectively in week 51. Same goes for Amar FM and Red FM which swapped their positions to fourth and fifth positions with 10 per cent and 9.7 per cent share respectively. Afternoon followed by Mid Morning and morning time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio here.
