RAM Week 16: Radio City and Big FM rule Bangalore and Kolkata respectively

Week 16 of RAM Ratings 2018 witnessed radio channel Fever taking over Mumbai and Delhi. Meanwhile, Radio City and Big FM continued to rule Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.
This week, in the Mumbai universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever FM continued to take the top spot with 15.9 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi and Radio City. The latter two retained their spots with 13.9 and 13.7 per cent share respectively. Big FM and Red FM also held on to their fourth and fifth spots with 13.4 per cent and 10.3 per cent share. Early morning, followed by morning and mid-morning time band, observed the highest listenership on total radio.
Fever continued to dominate the Delhi market in a universe of 16.5 million listeners with 19.3 per cent share. Radio City and Radio Mirchi took the second and third positions with 12.3 per cent and 11.9 per cent share respectively. Radio Nasha ranked fourth with an 11.9 per cent share while Air FM2 Gold continued to hold on to its fifth spot with 10.3 per cent share. Evening followed by night and afternoon time band observed the highest listenership on total radio.
In Bangalore, Radio City maintained its leadership position with a 24.6 per cent share in the universe of 5.3 million listeners. Big FM, Radio Mirchi and Fever FM took the second, third and fourth spots with 18.2 per cent, 17.7 per cent and 13.4 per cent respectively. Air FM Rainbow moved up to the fifth spot with 6.4 per cent share. Here, afternoon, followed by evening and mid-morning time band, observed the highest listenership on total radio.
Big FM overtook Radio Mirchi to lead the Kolkata market with 21.3 per cent share, followed by Radio Mirchi and Fever FM which garnered 19 per cent and 17.5 per cent shares respectively. Red FM and Aamar FM swapped their position to fourth and fifth with similar market share with 9.2 per cent.
